The Routes
Ride weekend is June 18–19, 2022.
Revel in late springtime beauty as you explore Southeast Nebraska along two route options. Both routes are out-and back, so you choose how far you want to go. You also get to choose which route you do on which day. Heck, you can even do the same route both days if you want.

Ride Day Update
The weekend looks to be a hot one, so we’re changing to an earlier, open start line on both days — Saturday from 8 a.m.–11 a.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.–9 a.m. Make sure you check in with event staff at the Historic Barns before leaving on the ride. You can leave anytime within this window.
Remember to ride with safety in mind, obeying all traffic laws and keeping your eyes and ears open for motorists. Vehicles will not be stopping for you, so please follow the rules of the road.
Hydrate before, during, and after the ride. Watch for SAG stops and feel free to turn back at any time. If you need assistance, call 402-269-0454. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for assistance, so please do not delay in calling for help if needed.
When you return, be sure to hit the Steinhart Aquatic Center, open to registered rides and guests from 1 p.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday.
Hard Surface Route
Just off the beaten path, this route is all paved, fairly light on traffic, and heavy with scenic views. Elevation changes along this route are easily manageable for most, making it a good option for riders with a moderate level of experience.

Steamboat Trace Trail
This abandoned railroad corridor parallels the Missouri River for an amazingly beautiful ride, a favorite of many bicyclists in the region. The trail itself is crushed limestone. The route to the trailhead is primarily paved with only one mile of gravel. Route support will be provided for any riders needing assistance in this portion of the trail.
